Powder charging rocker, corduroy gripping camber underfoot and a nimble low resonance core that will keep you going back for “just one more lap.”
The DPS 112RP2 Hybrid holds the same shape and measurements as the 112RP2 Pure but uses a different core matrix that gives the ski a damper and a more playful flex. The serious rocker and moderate camber will add to the surfy, forgiving fun of this ski. So whether you are running laps on your favorite front side chair or hitting that secret powder stash, the Wailer 112RP2 Hybrid will leave you grinning from first chair to Après.
This adaptation of DPS’s flagship Wailer uses an all bamboo core with carbon fiber stringers. Less carbon fiber means that the ski will have less resonance throughout as well as have a more playful feel due to the softer bamboo core. The hybrid features the same sidewalls as the Pure which allows for a higher torsional stiffness. The Wailer 112RP2 Hybrid’s construction also includes wider edges, UHMW polyethylene side walls (Ultra High Molecular Weight = Science for light and strong space plastic) and Austrian World Cup race bases.
