A lightweight all-purpose sleeping bag
In a world without space or budget constraints we could all own unique sleeping bags for every imaginable type of weather. Since a room full of sleeping bags isn’t realistic, the Western Mountaineering Versalite is the next best thing. The Versalite is ideal for sub freezing temperatures, but light enough for summer trips.
A relatively trim cut of 62"/39" shoulder/foot Girth affords the Versalite a warmth rating down to 10 degrees fahrenheit while weighing in at just 2 lbs. The bag’s warmth can be attributed to 20 oz. of premium 850+ goose down that lofts the Versalite to 6” and a full down collar and seals in heat around the neck and shoulders on cold nights. For three season comfort continuous baffles allow the down fill to be pushed to the bottom of the bag so overheating isn’t an issue; versatile and light; the name says it all.
