The Camox is an in bounds machine. It is a directional twin tip ski with a 97mm waist that likes to play in the powder but really shines on everything from packed powder to firmer snow.
Black Crows designed this ski for the ex ski racer that wants to be able to blast down anything on the mountain but has discovered that there is more to skiing than ripping groomers. The ski has tip and tail rocker to allow it to plow through crud while maintaining some float in powder. And if you’re feeling brave, there’s enough tail rocker to charge backwards.
The popular core construction with triaxial and biaxial fiberglass create a damp, stiff ski that is easy to maneuver. The added carbon kevlar stripes add enough stiffness to the ski that when it is laid on edge it holds like a race ski. The Camox is built with an ABS semi-cap step down sidewall which ensures that it is stiff underfoot and torsionally rigid in the tip and tail. With the Camox, Black Crows created a ski that allows you to push your limits while maintaining control.
