Scarpa’s 1 boot to do it all, the Maestrale, is all new for the 17-18 season.
Scarpa keeps the 3 piece build of the maestrale but updates the hinge on the tongue to mimic their F1 touring boot. Thing joint, paired with the Speedlock Plus walk mode and a 60 degree range of motion, lets the Maestrale tour almost like a randonee boot. Combining the bottom two buckles into one, using the Wave Closure system, make for faster transitions and easy fine-tuning of the fit in the forefoot. As always, the Maestrale comes with a heat-moldable intuition liner for superior comfort, performance, and warmth. A Vibram Cayman sole grips dirt, rock, or anything else you have to walk across en route to your objective.
Lock the Meastrale down at the top of the skin track, and it will ski like a freeride boot, thanks to the Grilamid Web Frame shell design. Weighing in at 1400g per boot, the Maestral is a boot you can take anywhere.
