Join us for an online snow-safety course offered by ORTOVOX and presented by AIARE certified guide service Colorado Adventure Guides. In this virtual presentation, participants will learn how to manage risk in avalanche terrain with proper tour planning. Topics discussed are avalanches and their formation; interpreting avalanche bulletins; methods for managing risk; and tour and rescue techniques.
Participants will have a chance to ask questions and take short quizzes.
