Bentgate Mountaineering's Ski Season Kick-off Party - Designed for the Deep - Presented by Black Diamond is on Oct. 9th, 2025! Every year hundreds of dedicated skiers and riders from around the front range come out to celebrate the coming snow at Bentgate Mountaineering.
The event is open to the public, admission is $10($12.51 with $2.51 ticketing platform fees charged to maximize proceeds to beneficiaries). and TICKETS ARE REQUIRED!! Each ticket includes General Admission, One Beverage and One Sweepstakes Entry**

Details:
The Kick-off party is a fundraiser for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center and AIARE. It includes food and beverages, a huge sweepstakes, tips and tricks corner with avalanche professionals, 45 minute Avy Aware clinic with Colorado Adventure Guides, and a live presentation featuring Bjorn Leines.
The sweepstakes** include tons of great gear from skis to avy gear and even avy safety courses! Item winners will be individually selected, giving you the option to pick exactly what you want to win. Sweepstakes Drawing starts at 8:30.
All Proceeds from tickets, sweepstakes and beverage/food sales will go to support the Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center and AIARE

Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed at this year's event. Service dogs excepted.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
An ID is required to receive a wristband for Alcoholic beverages
**No purchase necessary to enter. US residents only. Prizes will be available for pickup at 1313 Washington Ave. Golden, CO 80401 until 10/16/25. Winner is responsible for additional shipping and handling charges if prizes cannot be picked up in store. Prizes not picked up by 10/16/25 will be awarded to the next selected sweepstakes entrant. Send a letter to 1313 Washington Ave. Golden, CO 80401 with the subject "Friends of CAIC Sweepstakes" and include your name, email address, and item selection for a free entry.
