Raide felt like the perfect ski touring pant didn't exist so they made it. The TourTech Bib presents the best of both worlds offering a breathable softshell fabric in the upper half and a waterproof, breathable hardshell in the lower half. This allows your high output areas to breathe, while the areas that interface with the snow more frequently have waterproofness. Updated this year with new softshell, a more breathable hardshell and more.

Features

• Body-mapped softshell and hardshell material. Breathable softshell in high output areas (glutes, hamstrings, quads) and waterproof hardshell in areas that interface with the snow such as knees and lower leg.
• Internal elastic beacon sleeves and clip attachment webbing in both thigh pockets

• Upper material: 70d x 70d, 180 gsm, 85% nylon, 15% spandex, PFC free DWR, 12 CFM.
• Lower material: 40d x 70d, 150 gsm, 100% nylon, 30,000mm hydrostatic head, 30,000 g/m2/24h MVTR (breathability). Also described as 30k/30k. PFC Free DWR.
• 536g in size S/reg.

Hybrid Materials

• Body mapped breathability
• Breathability and weather protection where you need it. The TourTech bib is 69% softshell and 31% hardshell. Hardshell on the lower leg gives you protection for trail breaking, kneeling and bootpacking while not sacrificing breathability due to the ample 20 CFM softshell.

Perforated Bib

• Ultrabreathable bib for comfort
• We were tired of other brands making a ""touring bib"" with non-breathable materials up to your chest. We like a bib for comfort so nothing is around our waist constricting movement or getting pushed down from your pack, but it needed to be breathable so we laser cut holes into it.

Beacon Pockets

• Pocket and clip on both sides
• Internal beacon pocket in both pockets with a webbing loop sewn into the side seam of the pant for extra security to clip your beacon.

Bomber Kickpatch

• Kevlar cuff guard material
• We didn't skimp on the kickpatch. The kickpatch is 23% kevlar and wraps the entire hem of the pant to stand up to whatever you throw at it from crampons to long dry approaches.

Drop Seat

• Go #2 easily
• Drop seat allows you to easily go to the bathroom without taking your layers or suspenders off.

Venting

• Thigh vents on both sides
• Vents on the outer legs, shifted slightly towards the back for high output tours.

Gaiter

• Power strap pass through on gaiter
• 2 zippered slits in the gaiter allow you to pass your booster strap through so you don't have to lift your gaiter on transitions. This also keeps your gaiter down bootpacking. If you don't use them you can just keep the zipper closed.

Freeride Fit Cuff

• Cuff fits over most touring boots
• We built the cuff to fit over most touring boots and their walk mode levers (including the Zero G Tour Pro), but also added a zip to pass the walk mode lever through for boots with a protruding lever.
