    Santa Cruz Bicycles creates category-leading downhill, cross country, and electric bikes. We design, research, engineer, manufacture and assemble the very highest quality bikes. They are so simply advanced that they make bicycling even more enjoyable and are made to last many lifetimes of real world abuse.

    A History Lesson

    Santa Cruz Bicycles was born out of a simple truth: the bikes they wanted to ride didn’t exist. They had a vision for mountain biking – its look, the ride, and the technology – but they knew it would never become a reality unless they built it themselves.

    Quality Product, Quality Process.

    Santa Cruz has their hands on every stage of development and construction of a bicycle, because they do it right in Santa Cruz, CA. They design and engineer everything themselves, they own their own carbon fiber frame factory and assemble all our bikes themselves. Santa Cruz greases the links, torques the bolts, gathers all the parts from their warehouse using trolleys they built, and when the bikes are assembled, they put them into cardboard boxes they designed.
